Position Title: Golf Shop Attendant

Basic Functions: Responsible for registering golfers for play and assisting customers on the sales floor. Assist all staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization of golf shop appearance. Present a friendly, warm and professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications: Good customer service skills. Knowledge of computers. Pleasant personality. Accurate record-keeping. Telephone etiquette. Golf knowledge helpful.

Experience Required: Must have a valid driver’s license. Minimum of 2-year of high school completed. Prior public service helpful. Previous golf experience preferred. Previous retail experience preferred.

Job Functions:

  • Greets guests and collects appropriate fees and has complete knowledge of POS system.
  • Professionally answers all telephone calls.
  • Acquires product knowledge in order to assist customers in merchandise sales.
  • Assists with re-stocking of golf shop on a daily basis.
  • Keeps golf shop neat, organized, and clean.
  • Assists with retail inventory.
  • Assists with golf outings and tournaments.
  • Assists guests with starting times.
  • Attends required staff meetings.
  • Communicates with professional staff on daily operations.
  • Assists with opening and closing duties deemed necessary by professional staff.
  • Wears issued uniform and name tag at all times.
  • Performs duties in a professional manner to exceed customer’s expectations.

Environment: Inside well-lit environmentally controlled area. Some time may be spent outdoors.

Food & Beverage Cook II

Position Title: Food & Beverage Cook II

Basic Functions: Prepares and cooks meals for customers, employees and for golf outings and functions by performing the duties listed in the Essential Functions section.

Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Requires ability to write simple correspondence as well. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Knowledge of all kitchen equipment and operational procedures.

Experience Required: 1-2 years experience in a direct preparation position of cooking/culinary responsibilities. Must have a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or GED, a minimum of six months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Functions:

  • Prepares and cooks food according to menu and standard operating procedures for each item.
  • Works closely with manager on duty regarding daily specials and clubhouse functions.
  • Checks all refrigeration for proper temperature controls.
  • Observes and tests food being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing with fork to make sure it is cooked properly.
  • Responsible for kitchen organization and proper product levels at all times.
  • Keeps all work areas neat and clean during shift.
  • Knows the specific requirements of the Health Department and enforces those standards.
  • Ensures proper portion control for all prepared items.
  • Keeps refrigerators and dry goods shelves clean, organized and rotated at all times.
  • Assists manager with the development of inventory standards of sanitation.
  • Cleans kitchen and grill daily.
  • Follow all rules and guidelines of kitchen and food preparation at all times.
  • Performs any reasonable task requested by management or Pinnacle HR Group.
  • Assist in other departments as required.

Golf Course Maintenance III

Positions Title: Grounds Maintenance III

Basic functions: Under the supervision of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or Golf Course Foreman; performs work involving the use of large equipment, including tractors, loaders / backhoes and other maintenance equipment.

Essential functions: Mows fairways and roughs with gang units. Operates loader/backhoes, fairway and rough aerifiers and tractor mounted fertilizer/seed spreaders. Adjusts fairway and rough mowers as needed to insure quality cut. Ensures equipment cooling system is working at all times. Refills fuel and oil and cleans equipment daily. Reports equipment problems or failures to mechanic immediately. Responsible for basic preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by the Mechanic, Foreman, Field Supervisor or Assistant Superintendent. Responsible for returning equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility. Performs other work-related duties as directed by supervisor. May also operate smaller equipment as directed by supervisor. Maintains safe working conditions at all times.

Environment: Outside working conditions a majority of the time in a variety of weather conditions.

Experience: Knowledge of the safe mechanical operation of tractors and other motorized equipment.
Ability to follow oral and written directions. Mechanical aptitude. Must have valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum 2-years grounds / golf course experience.
